Of all the things we harvest the cherries are my favorite! I love them!! I usually try to get pictures of the kids and Paul working, but this year I didn't get to many pictures. Everyone was usually to busy working. My dad even helped out this year.

I have been wanting to see Boise myself, so football camp gave me that chance. On Monday, my Mom and Dad, Kelsey, Karsen and I headed to see that blue turf for ourselves.
The girls even made it to the end zone!!
A little swimming at the hotel, and lots of shopping at the mall! What fun!!

GOODBYE HOUSEL.......

JUNE 5, 2009
It is official I now have three high schoolers living in my house. Oh joy!! Kyle and Cortney had eighth grade graduation on the last day of school. I have to admit I am very sad.
In this picture they are getting three sport awards.

Cortney was in leadership so she got to speak during the assembly, she hated it, but did a Great job!

Cortney and Marisa getting their Presidents awards. Good job girls! Kyle got this award too, but he wouldn't smile for the picture like the girls.

No Ponytail??

May 30, 2009

LOOK, Cortney has beautiful natural curly hair. Not that anyone gets to see it, because she puts it in a ponytail EVERYDAY! I beg for her to leave it down.
We were on our way to Castle Rock for cousin Mike's graduation party when I took this picture. Yes that is my sweet niece Karsen in the car too. She is here for awhile and we are so happy!

Cousin Mike and Kelsey, he is very sweet, we wish they lived closer so we could see him more often. Maybe playing baseball at CBC?

Cort and Karsen got a picture with Mikey too! Notice the ponytail!!

Cousins Matt, Kelsey and Gregory, enjoying a beautiful afternoon! They have a beautiful place along the river! I wish I would of gotten it in some of the pictures.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KELSEY RAE!!!

May 27, 2009
Kelsey Rae I can't remember my life without you! Some how after 22 hours of labor, 17 years ago my life was "brightened" forever. You light up a room with your smile!
This is a picture from 3 years ago, we were camping on her birthday. She used to love camping, now not so much.
Beautiful flowers! Nice job Kody!

We did take her shopping in Portland over the weekend, and that made her smile a lot! Cute dress!

Kelsey and Dallas Manus share a birthday and have shared many hours at baseball fields watching their brothers. This year Kyle had a game on her birthday so the family party will have to wait for tomorrow.

I Love You Kelsey Rae, Thanks for the laughter! You are a beautiful young woman and I am so very proud of you!

PROM!!!

May, 9 2009

Kelsey and Kody decided to go to the dance a little late, like 5 days before. But it worked out great, we found a dress that she loved and looked perfect on her!
The back of the dress laced up with a ribbon. So I got to lace her in to it, and the saleslady at the store said it would loosen up after you wear it for awhile and I didn't want that to happen! Needless to say it didn't loosen up, and she couldn't breathe very well, but she sure looked beautiful in it. They came home and the first thing she said is "will you please let me out of this dress!"

Poor Kody had to pose for all 5 cameras. He was very sweet and patient about it. They do look very cute together, and she had on the tallest heels we could find.

They met another couple at Outback for dinner and then went to the dance for more pictures and 5 songs. They were back home by 10:30, but they had fun! Wow it is hard to believe that she is that old, I still remember my proms.
